CDM Co-ordinator

A CDM Co-ordinator will assist the client in undertaking their duties required to comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

• Notify the HSE.
• Co-ordinate health and safety aspects for the work of designers, planners and other parties associated with the project.
• Collate pre-construction information and advise the client when surveys are necessary.
• Advise the client on suitability of the construction phase health and safety plan and on adequacy of site welfare facilities.

Principal Contractor Support

We can assist Principal Contractors in undertaking their duties required to comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

• Assist with contractor pre-qualification processes.
• Prepare a construction phase health and safety plan.
• Prepare site health and safety administration documents.
• Assist with monitoring of projects.

Project Health and Safety File and O&M Manuals

We can assist the Principal Contractor in the preparation of the project Health and Safety file, providing a hard (paper) copy and a digital format of the documents. Our bespoke computer software system has been designed to facilitate all types and formats of project Health & Safety files. Within the CDM Services department MECsafe have a specialist team solely dedicated to collecting and formatting material for the files.
