MECsafe Electrical Compliance Limited is one of three companies within the MECsafe Group. This company has been formed to provide a specialist Electrical Portable Appliance Testing service, together with the PAT service is an additional professional electrical appliance repair facility operated by qualified electricians. Electrical equipment can be repaired either on site or at our operating centre workshop.

Under the Electricity at Work Regulations and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations it is every employers duty to ensure the safety of their employees and anyone affected by your work when using electrical equipment.

Guidance from the Institute of Electrical Engineers state that:

• Construction site equipment tested every 3 Months
• Hand held office equipment tested every 12 Months
• Equipment used by the public tested every 6 Months
• Industrial equipment tested every 6 Months
• Commercial kitchen equipment every 6 Months
• 230v Construction site equipment tested Monthly
