Michael Gove, who betrayed Boris Johnson over Tory leadership, has now defended him over his anti-Brexit article. The Foreign Secretary faced embarrassment over the weekend when a copy of his unpublished column arguing for Remain was released for the first time. The article was allegedly wrote just days before Johnson started publicly backing the Brexit campaign. Another day, another mind bloggling twist in politics. The Mail Online have recently released this article.
The people of Aberfan, South Wales, are remembering the disaster that struck 50 years ago. 144 people died, most of them children, when an 800ft heap of colliery waste collapsed in 1966. The moutain of coal waste collapsed down the slag heap, smashing on top of Pantglas primary school. There is now a memorial garden in place of where the school once stood, each partition/section represents a classroom. There is a page on the Aberfan Disaster on Wikipedia.
The BBC have released an article which celebrates some of the brainiest minds in music. You maybe suprised!
