IPAF MEWPS Training Course

Equipment categories include: Scissor Lift, Self-Propelled Boom, Trailer-Mounted Boom, Vertical Personnel Platform, Van & Truck Mounted Booms and Harness training.

We schedule open Scissor Lifts and Self-Propelled Boom courses at our Doncaster Training Centre.

We are able to arrange training on other equipment categories at our satellite centres, please contact us for further information.

Alternatively, training can be arranged on clients site, subject to number of candidates and facilities (in this case, the client would need to supply the MEWPS).

The IPAF MEWP courses instruct an operator to prepare and safely operate the specific type of MEWP they have booked training on.
Please note, although it briefly covers harnesses and what Fall Arrest/Restraint Equipment should be used on that specific MEWP, it does not deem the operator competent to carry out a detailed or interim harness inspection. There is a specific IPAF Harness course, that does instruct a user to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safely when using a MEWP.

Certification: Upon completion of the course a certificate and photo ID card will be issued and valid for 5 years.
