The big news this week was last nights first 2016 US presidential debate. For those who had an early night, you may have missed Trump losing his cool.
Goaded by Clinton and pressed hard by moderator Lester Holt, the Republican nominee angrily defended his record against charges of racism, sexism and tax avoidance for much of the 90-minute clash.
Trump then went on to hit Clinton on trade and her political record – issues that have helped him draw level in recent polls and may yet dominate the election!
The whole thing was very confrontational, as you would expect, but at times got rather personal (and a tad childish) – something much different to what we would see at a UK political debate 😉
You can view a full review of the debate by clicking here or watch it on Youtube.
This debate was the first of three, so we look forward to seeing if things will turn around next time!
