Svetlana Kuznetsova asked for a pair of scissors and cut her ponytail at the start of the third set at the WTA Tennis Finals. She remarked “It was bothering me a lot. When I was hitting the forehands I hit a good shot and it would hit my eye, I thought, ‘what’s more important? My hair, which can grow, or the match?'”! Svetlana then went on to beat defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska.
