Record Breaking Stuff

In 2016 PASMA issued a record-breaking 73,000 training cards.

Comments chairman of PASMA’s training committee, John McNeilly: “These remarkable numbers only serve to reinforce PASMA’s position as the principal provider of what is now firmly established as the definitive industry standard for mobile access tower training, both in the UK and increasingly overseas. For an overwhelming number of organisations no other form of training, and therefore demonstration of competency, is acceptable.”

“It reflects great credit on the work of PASMA training centres and their instructors, and, of course, on those companies and individuals committed to height safety and keeping people safe.”

The 2017 training programme includes nine training courses ranging from ‘Work at height essentials’ and ‘Towers for users’ to more advanced modules covering ‘Towers on stairs’, ‘Towers with cantilevers’ and ‘Towers for riggers‘.

Get your giggle on!

If it’s your first day back to work today after the bank holiday weekend, you may be experiencing the post bank holiday blues! According to many psychologists the best way to make yourself feel a little brighter is to laugh. Either watch a funny YouTube clip right now or force yourself to laugh. By forcing yourself to laugh, you’ll set off a chemical reaction in your brain that will ensure your fake laughter turns into real laughter in the space of a few minutes.

Here is a funny YouTube health and safety related clip 🙂

Alternatively you could give MECsafe a call and to enquire about a course. Attending one of MECsafe’s courses will add value to you and your organisation, it will further your skills and develop your career. And certainly will get rid of those post bank holiday blues!
